Central Ohio Bicycle Club
The Central Ohio Bicycle Club is a local racing club with road, cyclocross and mountainbikers in their ranks. They race at lots of the events in and around Ohio. If you are an aspiring racer (or already a racer) check them out!
Central Ohio Mountain Biking Organization
COMBO is our local mountain bike organization, and is affiliated with IMBA. Please visit this site to find out what new things are in store for the Central Ohio mountain bike scene. This is a non-profit volunteer based organization that is responsible for maintaining and building the trails at Alum Creek State Park and at AEP. They also put on several rides throughout the year.

Columbus Outdoor Pursuits
Columbus Outdoor Pursuits is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1937 to promote greater understanding of the world and its people by providing low-cost recreational and educational travel. Columbus Outdoor Pursuits is best known for its bicycle mega-tours: Tour of the Scioto River Valley (TOSRV) and Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure (GOBA)
Ohio Bicycle Federation
The Ohio Bicycle Federation (OBF) is the only state-wide advocacy
organization representing Ohio's bicyclists. It is an alliance of
individuals and groups interested in promoting the use of bicycles for
recreation, transportation, and other appropriate purposes. The OBF
serves by providing opportunities for the betterment of bicycle
education, engineering, legislation, the encouragement of activities
involving the use of bicycles, and by serving as a forum for the
exchange of information and ideas.
OMBC
The Ohio Mountain Bike Championship series is the largest off-road racing series in Ohio. From Cross-Country to Downhill, they do it all. They also have races all over the state at various trails, so finding a race near you is easy!
Spoke Junkies
Who are these mountain biking maniacs? The Spokejunkies are a group of fun-loving yet serious recreational riders. Members range in age from 16 (the group-imposed minimum unless accompanied by a riding parent) to, well, let's just say they're old enough that they'd rather we not say. From blue collar shift workers to PhD-toting psychologists, the Spokejunkies appeal to all with one common factor, the quest for a great ride and a good time. They offer the beginner a forum to ride in a large group while learning valuable information from more experienced riders
Westerville Bicycle Club
The WBC is a nonprofit recreational and touring club for bicyclists of all ages and abilities. For more than two decades, the Westerville Bicycle Club has been the source of cycling pleasure for hundreds of bicyclists. Cyclists of all ages and abilities are welcome in the WBC. Whether you're a Cat 1 racer or a casual cyclist, the WBC is a great club to meet other cyclists. They also hold the Westerville Dry Run tour every September.

- Adventure Cycling Association
- America's largest recreational cycling association has developed the National Bicycle Route Network, encompassing more than 24,000 miles of road and mountain bike trails, which are depicted on high-quality route maps.
- America Bikes
- America Bikes is a coalition of leaders from the bicycling community dedicated to improving bicycling across the country through programs and
policies in the 2003 federal transportation funding bill. The campaign is mobilizing cyclists, organizations and businesses to convince Congress that bicycles are an important element in the transportation puzzle. - Bicycle Friendly Community
- The Bicycle Friendly Community Campaign is an awards program that recognizes municipalities that actively support bicycling. A Bicycle-Friendly Community provides safe accommodation for cycling and encourages its residents to bike for transportation and recreation. The League of American Bicyclists administers the Bicycle Friendly Community Campaign.
- Bicycle Helmet Safety Institute
- This is the advocacy program of the Washington Area Bicyclist Association, a small, active, non-profit consumer-funded program acting as a clearinghouse and a technical resource for bicycle helmet information. Volunteers from the BHSI serve on the ASTM bicycle helmet standard committee and are active in commenting on actions of the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

- The mission of I.M.B.A., the International Mountain Bicycling Association, is to promote mountain bicycling opportunities which are environmentally and socially responsible.

- Pedals for Progress

- Rails-to-Trails Conservancy
- RTC is a nonprofit organization working to enrich America's communities by creating a nationwide network of public trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors.

- The goal of The Surface Transportation Policy Project is to ensure that transportation policy and investments help conserve energy, protect environmental and aesthetic quality, strengthen the economy, promote social equity, and make communities more livable.
- The National Center for Bicycling & Walking
- The N.C.B.W. is a national, not-for-profit organization working with people in communities to make America more bicycle friendly and walkable. Their resource center provides updates, information and resources for bicycle and pedestrian practitioners, related professionals, and citizen advocates.
- Youth Educational Sports
- Youth Educational Sports, Inc. was created to give instructional and educational support for non-traditional sports taught in schools, after school activities and youth organizations. YESports will also help if you want to start a "non-traditional sport" club, such as bicycling.
